The race in June starts in the large field on the west bank of the river right in the centre of the village (Bridge Field on the map above).
By Rail: Trains from Sheffield and Manchester stop at Grindleford Station. Both the adult and junior races are a 10-15 minute walk from the station. Check out https://www.thetrainline.com/
By Bus: get off by the traffic lights / bridge in the centre of the village
Parking for the adult fell race in June is on the playing fields if the ground is dry enough. If not you will be directed elsewhere on the night.
Parking for the junior fell race in September is on the road adjacent to the church. Please do not drive up the lane next to the church to the start.
